OVERALL OBJECTIVE
- Advancing the integration of type 1 diabetes care into the health system of Tanzania.
- Improving quality and access to diabetes care among children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes in Tanzania.
TARGETS
- At least 15 clinics established.
- At least 600 healthcare professionals are trained.
- 1,000 new cases of T1 diabetes registered and provide with care.
- 2,000 known and new T1 diabetes cases are supported and BGL is well controlled.
